| Cordial gapes out toward Ezythyr and the beast, and becomes flustered. Was there nothing she could do to help in this situation? She thought of Monty and his resistance to helping, and pictured him curled up cozily in her pack, oblivious of the help she and her companions could use at this precise moment: his ability to swim, his speed, his size, he'd make a great distraction. That's when it occurs to her, and she hesitates a moment. She'd never tried to transform into anything quite like Monty, but the longer she waited, the more trouble Ezythyr would be in.
She only hoped she would make herself a little more... a little less... colourful.
Cordial's pack and accessories fall to the sand as she takes the form of a constrictor, small at first, and then increasing rapidly in size. Cordial could have guessed any common camouflage colouration, but she wanted to stand out, to be distracting. So she had selected the brightest, most uncommon colours of Monty's palette, bright yellow and red stripes, which could have the additional effect of making her appear poisonous to a would-be predator.
After a brief moment figuring out the mechanics of her motility in this huge form, she slithers rapidly into the water, making large winding curves with her body, and holding her head up high, staring at the water-creature, hoping to catch its attention as quickly as possible. | |
